Pavão Paintings with Lynn Spoor
We have made these two “Proud as a peacock.” works together. Traditional and digital visual arts have been combined. They are canvas works that combine acrylics, inks, textures, illustrations and printed digital collages. Visual imagery of capitalism, materialism, brands, friendship, elements of nature etc. Day (light) vs. night (dark). Both of us have experimented with paint, materials and digital designs. We joined forces to collaborate, learn from each other and make two strong and colorful art pieces.

She participated in auctions for FC Cancer Foundation and 538 for War Child with donated work of arts for the fundraiser. Different mediums allow her to express different ideas. Her work is filled with rich textures, deep colours and a process of abstraction. Adding layers of paint in combination with the strength of aluminium. Most of the figures are soft and a sense of mystery. Painting for her is a meditation and a way of a visual expression of emotions. To convey the beauty and strength in textures. A way of being emotionally expressive and always a challenge to make it interesting.
